Resumen
La confusión sobre qué problema plantea la gestación por sustitución provoca que tanto defensores como detractores partan, paradójicamente, de supuestos comunes para así dar razón de sus argumentos, realizando una interpretación diferente de los hechos.
El objetivo de nuestro artículo se dirigirá a realizar un análisis crítico de tales supuestos, no para tomar partido por una de las posturas, sino para arrojar luz en un asunto que aún genera incertidumbre y confusión, intentando fomentar así un diálogo basado en la deliberación y en la profusión de actitudes responsables ante la reproducción.

Abstract
The confusion about the problem posed by surrogacy causes both defenders and detractors to start, paradoxically, from common assumptions to explain their arguments, making a different interpretation of the facts.
The objective of our article will be aimed at making a critical analysis of such assumptions, not to take sides with one of the positions, but to shed light on an issue that still generates uncertainty and confusion, thus trying to foster a dialogue based on deliberation and in the profusion of responsible attitudes towards reproduction.
